Perhaps in a frustrated attempt to motivate myself in making my dream come true -becoming a fashion artist, that is- I've decided to learn sewing and pattern-making. My sewing skills, well, it's bit basic really. I've surfed the web for crash courses on sewing and pattern-making. So far, I've stumbled on this site, Burda Style. They offer sewing tutorials with free patterns -some users offer purchase it now patterns.
Looking through its pages, I've taken a liking on the mentioned site. And I thought I'd give it a try. If I give it a go, then I've perfected my sewing and pattern-making skills, I won't have to buy clothes anymore. I'll just simply make them myself. (note to self: buy clothes if it's amazingly worthy, and gives you your 2cents).
Have to get the following things though:
* Sewing Machine -> major investment (will have to look for serger if there's any in the dept. store)
* Sewing stuff (have to dust them off from my closet, haven't used them for ages)
Well, that's it then. For my future entries, I will be posting inspirations and things that makes me motivated. I will post my D.I.Y. outfits (if and when I made one, that is).
